On January 15-18 this year a Shabbaton that is popular among youth took place in “Skolmo”. 7 people from our town took part. We all were divided into groups by age categories. There were pleasing madrichim. We had been already acquainted with some before. During holding of the camp, the madrichim pleased us with an exciting programme, interesting games and talks. We enjoyed the process of performing a scene the most, where many talents were discovered.

During that time, we were not just resting but also volunteering. We visited some low-income Jewish families in Rovno, brought them small but delicious presents. People were telling about their lives, about the past and we were very interested in listening. At the end of the last day we were taken to the bowling alley to relax and play together.

In the camp we have got new knowledge and experience that is to be useful in the future and we are ready to share it with others in our community center. Also, we found many friends from all over the country.

All we can say is that we want more!
