The Rainbow of Health
Treatment institution is a sad place, especially when child gets there not for a day or two, but for one month or longer. Everyday life is back and little man sits within four walls. Instead of turning to friends he’s got painful regimens, drips and pills. The Rainbow of health project was conceived and carried out in order to paint life of such children.
Once again our artist-volunteer painted episode of fairy tale on a wall in the dining room. But most importantly, children took part in the process of painting the wall.
And today, on December 1st, 2017 in the run-up to the Day of Persons with Disabilities our volunteers came and gave children the fairy take on a wall.
Our volunteers are holders of good energy. They hold back the tears, when see children who suffer. But they never recognize this is hard for them. No, they smile, come up with ideas in order to distract kids and parents from ripper days in hospital.
The biggest prize for us is smiling children and their parents.
