Project «MEMORY»
December 20, 2015 members of our community have visited Samary village (Ratne district) to open the memorial sign on the place of execution. It is hard to imagine but at this beautiful place, 80 local residents (Jews and one Ukrainian family, which hid Jews) were shot in 1942. Also at this event took part invited guests, teachers and students from the local school and local residents. One of those who took part at the meeting was Moisej Baranchuk. He was born in 1921 and he saw the execution. We are very grateful to everyone who participated in this project. Dead souls have been waiting for a memorial prayer for 73 years. Finally, it sounded. We believe that this place will not be forgotten.
