On the threshold of the Chanukah holiday we hold an event "On the eve of Chanukah" in which members of our community and clients of Hesed of different ages took part. There were various master classes in the programme: the people of older age were cooking latkes that all we tried on the festive meal; the younger were preparing and then performing a small funny play "Pirsum ha-nes" on the stage; the senior pupils were making hanukiah, that later decorated our big hall; the smallest were playing a game with a wolf and they also learned and presented a happy Chanukah song.

At the end of the evening our guests - a vocal ensemble "Bou na shyr" and a dance studio "Nes" from the CF "Beiteinu"(Nash Dom) performed a wonderful concert programme. Everyone was pleased with everything and we enjoyed our time together.

Then happy eight days of Chanukah came! And we kindled the holiday lights together in our Home and in our places...
