History... Our history...

An unusual meeting was recently held in our community - the students and teachers of the University of Albi (France) visited us. These young people brought together interest in the history of the Holocaust, the historical heritage and the preservation of the memory of the life of the Jewish population on the territory of Ukraine. We organized a tour of "Jewish Luck", which familiarized the students with the significant Jewish places, cultish (and not only) buildings of our city, as well as the tragic history of the Jewish community, visited the site of the execution of the Lutsk ghetto. At the end of the program - the guests visited our warm house, talking to our young people, got acquainted with life and activity of the community today. We hope that everyone was very pleased to meet and chat. During the discussion, it was suggested by the teaching staff of the French group about how to make such meetings regular, with which we gladly agreed. So... Until next time!
