THE FESTIVAL August 24, 2017 festival "Palette of Cultures" was held on the Castle Square of our city. Of course, our Jewish community could not stay away! We have been preparing for a very long time to show and tell the inhabitants of our city about Jewish history, traditions, culture; to acquaint with traditional Jewish attributes and to taste the dishes of Jewish cuisine! We all succeeded! The volunteers not only helped to equip the pavilions, but also held a master class in quiling, told the guests about the Jewish customs, introduced the attributes, answered the questions they were interested in. And the traditional falafel was find to their taste even the most refined gourmets! .. We also presented a song in Yiddish "Sapozhkaleh". The dance ensemble "Dreidl" gave all guests an incendiary Jewish dance "Kaits Israel"! But that's not all! In completing of the festival program - a master class on Israeli dances forced the entire square to move! We were very pleased to meet and to talk with our friends from other communities, to watch their performances. The atmosphere of the holiday was very warm and friendly. We thank our volunteers for their help in organizing the holiday! Thanks to all who came and supported! We - well done!!!
