Presentation of the film: "Those who come after us."

Most recently, an amazing woman visited our city, her name Eva Buchwald. She is a French whose family from Kovel. After her mother died, she sorted out family archive and found a lot of records and reminiscences about Kovel. So she decided to visit this city. And in 2009 was her first come where her parents from.
She was really impressed that local residents know very little about life and tragic death of their Jewish counterparts
And that began the idea of film about the history of this city. Well, on November 17th, 2017, a long-awaited launched a film “ To those who will come after us.” took place in bookstore “E”.
The name of this film is the one of hundreds inscriptions left by Jews who were resigned to die on the walls of Kovel synagogue.
It is very encouraging that lot of people who interested in history of native land came to the meeting.
After watching the film Eva responded to numerous inquiries, listen to the stories of our compatriots, told story of the making of the film.
It was encouraging that we could find a time out of Evas’ busy schedule, and we visited Kovel.
Let's hope that together we can actually get the memorial at the place of Jewish cemetery in Kovel. And local residents will see the film!
